Active Agents

Sesame oil (Oleum sesami) is obtained by pressing the seeds of the sesame plant. The seeds of this plant, which resembles the foxglove, contain around 50% oil. Sesame oil is pale yellow, almost odourless and has a mild taste. It has high levels of essential linoleic acid, and is a natural antioxidant thanks to the active agent sesamol.

Collagen is the primary component of the skin’s connective tissue. As the skin ages, and as a result of sun exposure, what was originally soluble collagen becomes insoluble collagen. This reduces the skin’s elasticity and capacity to bind water. Native soluble collagen acts as a long-term moisture source, firming and smoothing the skin. We only use native soluble collagen of pharmaceutical quality.

Calendula oil is the oily extract from marigold flowers (Calendula officinalis). Important components include saponine, etherial oil, bitters, resin, acids and colorants. This extract accelerates cell regeneration, and is anti-inflammatory and calming, while also slightly promoting blood flow.

Usage

Apply in the morning on a thoroughly cleansed face. Massage lightly until completely absorbed.
